It can be incredibly easy to become complacent and lazy when it comes to treating your hair well. And that’s without mentioning the grey and dreary wintry days that seem to control how style our hair.
I was not fortunately blessed with the voluminous and defined curls my mum and my sister have. Instead I have semi curly-frizzy hair that never sits right if left natural. So instead, I am guilty of straightening or blow-drying my hair on a weekly basis. Don’t get me wrong, I know it’s not good for my hair, but in order to retain its thickness, silkiness and bouncy effect, I look to products such as Moroccanoil which has become a particular life saver of mine. I also noticed it is the number one choice of hair products at my hair salon, Vanilla Studio and my hairdresser vows by their products. I have tried a number of oils, serums and creams, and alongside OGX, which I am a huge fan of; Moroccanoil is definitely worth a try.
I would go as far as saying Moroccanoil is the current driving force of the hair world – it really does give you the wow factor and instant changes you need. Moroccanoil was fortunate to gift me with their shampoo, conditioner and treatment oil to trial. The bottles are luxurious in their packaging and the products themselves smell delicious and fresh. The treatment oil is best to put on your hair once you have towel-dried your hair, so your hair is still slightly damp to apply the oil. Be wary not to apply the oil when your hair is dry as it will cause your hair to look greasy and frizzy.
What is so enticing about the Moroccanoil treatment is that it self-nourishes your hair without needing to do much else. It has a residue-free formula so it can be used in three different ways – conditioning, styling and a finishing product to your hair. You can also use the oil in conjunction with other products you own due to its versatility. What’s more exciting is that after using it a few times, I really noticed a difference with the ends of my hair. The treatment seems to repair and replenish my roots, as the formula transports lost proteins for strength, as well as fatty acids, omega-3 oils and vitamins to help your hair shine that much brighter and contains antioxidants for protection. With my hair in particular, because of how often I do apply heat to my hair, it is a really fantastic collection that has satisfied my hair needs. I use the treatment, having used the shampoo and conditioner whilst washing my hair, to make sure I get the finish I want.
So if you’re interested, take a look at the products on offer and see if Moroccanoil can entice you the way it did for me!
