This California Gurl is on cloud 9 as she has been selected by the oh’ so famous high street fashion retailer H&M to be part of the next major holiday campaign!
Katy Perry in H&M Winter Campaign as a long standing fan of the high street chain and is excited to be part of a long list of celebrities who have collaborated with the retail giant. Only a few months ago, Balmain joined forces to design and create a unique fashion label. As the current face of Moschino, this Katy Cat has been spotted in a cozy turtleneck sweater with a red silk bow in her hair. A touch of Christmas is already at the forefront of many designer labels as the next biggest campaign of the year. Whilst, were still in July, the photos definitely make me excited to see the official campaign images to be released by AW15.
Katy Perry took to instagram as celebrities do when big news hits the fan saying: “Ladies, Gentlemen & unlabeled-let’s take a petite pause on the beauteous summer we are experiencing & open our calendars tooooo…THE HOLIDAYS I am excited to announce that I will be starring in @hm’s #HappyandMerry Holiday Campaign launching later this year!!! Stay tuned for the whole unwrapping! Tap for credits! (can’t believe I already have holiday emojis in my most recently used emoji’s…more shame).”
Katy Perry also discussed that ‘H&M was one of the places where I first began cultivating my personal style. I have continued to love integrating H&M pieces into my wardrobe throughout the years. One of the reasons I love the holidays is being able to dress cosy and cute, which H&M executes so well for every budget. I can’t wait for you to see the world we created with Jonas Akerlund and Dan Jackson’.
Joining the likes of Beyoncé, Lady Gaga and Gisele Bundchen who have previously starred in H&M campaigns is an exciting project and Pernilla Wohlfarht, H&M’s head of design has said ‘We are thrilled that Katy Perry will star in our campaign this holiday season. We love everything about Katy, from her incredible heart and energy to her playful sense of personal style’.
