You may or you may not be pleased to hear that ‘winter is coming’; that not so warm feeling disappears in a flash; and in comes those morning shivers. I am not trying to cheat you out of summer, but let’s be honest, high street retailers already had autumn/winter styles in stock in July and August!
Much to my sister’s excitement, the best part of winter are the coats; to make you feel OK about the impending drop in temperature. I also love a good coat, but before I wish winter upon us sooner than needs be, here are some of the pieces you should be shopping for over the next month or so, adding a touch of sparkle or embroidery to your outfit of the day, taking it from day to night; with little fuss needed. Without breaking the bank balance, here are some of the staple pieces you should be investing in which will carry you throughout autumn and perhaps even winter, should the weather be kind to us!
You’ll be pleased to know that sequins, the ankle grazer boot style and knit embroidery are key trends for this season; putting that well-deserved and ‘needed’ smile on our faces when faced with dreary days.
Here are my top autumn/winter pieces you should be investing in to kick-start the festive season!
