The Perfume Society’s Gift Box ‘Scent with Love’

Who doesn’t love beauty products? We all find ourselves fascinated by the latest products on the market. But what, we have all grown a little too accustomed to, is following a trend of popularity that we can’t quite call our ‘own’ love.

No matter what you choose, there’s something for everyone. Now, I am a total lover of perfumes, both designer and high-street, but it’s sometimes difficult finding your signature scent from a catalogue. I was recently introduced to The Perfume Society. Seeing as there are numerous beauty gift boxes on the market, it was about time someone conjured up the idea of giving us all the perfumes we could want. Their mission is very simple – find the fragrance you love and to be fascinated by the art of perfumery.

Sometimes all it takes to fall in love, is a little test of good faith. At The Perfume Society, they take into consideration how important it is to spritz, spray and assess the perfume you are trying and so I decided to try out one of their most exciting Discovery boxes ‘Scent with Love’. A beautiful play on words, it had everything I could ask for…and quite frankly I have become a sucker for the box. The box has a stunning edit of fragrances that suits all sorts of personalities.

The box I received had a beautiful range of timeless and romantic scents such as Elie Saab Le Parfum Rose Couture, Shay & Blue’s Classic of English Cherry Blossom and of course Narciso Rodriguez for Her. The Elie Saab Rose Couture was sensual and florally inspired and a stunning addition to my evening scents.

What was so wonderful is having the opportunity to try brands I know and love and to try perfumes I am not quite familiar with. It was utterly exciting to throw myself into the deep end and to really engage with brands I had not come across. And of course, included in the box was the oh-so-famous pop star Taylor Swift and her new perfume ‘Incredible Things’. When I first picked up the box and unwrapped it, I found myself drawn to Agonist Vanilla Marble – I had read about it in Scent with Love’s bio and on social media, it was a much talked about perfume. Agonist Vanilla Marble awakens your senses with a combination of 100% natural ingredients. It is infused with an addictive creamy vanilla scene and has fragrance blends of vanilla, almond and Tiare flower with fig, amber and patchouli. With a slightly high price tag of £98 for 50ml, it certainly is a fragrance to carefully consider; but having tried it, my heart and head are slightly bickering.

With a number of gift boxes under their belt, The Perfume Society is an encyclopaedia of information, that enables each and every one of us to dive right in and answer all our questions about perfume.
